What does LingoVae actually do?
LingoVae rewrites your Shopify product descriptions in one of four core voices — Professional, Friendly, Benefits-First, or Detailed — and then asks you to approve every field before any of it publishes. Bulk styling and an extended catalog of category-organized voices unlock on Grow. Custom voices you build yourself, version history, and campaign routing unlock on Pro.
How does the per-field review work?
LingoVae generates three drafts for each product: title, description, and SEO description. Each field is shown side-by-side with your existing Shopify copy. You accept, edit, or reject each field independently. Nothing publishes until you approve it. Each field is its own discrete decision — you can accept the title and reject the description in the same review.
How does LingoVae integrate with my Shopify theme?
After installing the app, you go to the Shopify theme editor and drag the LingoVae block into your product page template. That’s about 30 seconds and the only setup. We don’t touch your theme code; the block reads from Shopify metafields under the commstyles namespace. If you ever uninstall, the block stops rendering and your original Shopify descriptions show in its place automatically.

What’s included in the Free plan?
Free includes your most-recent 10 products styled (by creation date), all four core voices, the full per-field review workflow, A/B compare against your live Shopify copy, and one-click revert per product. No credit card.
What does Grow add on top of Starter?
Grow ($29/mo) adds bulk styling — style many products in a single job. It also adds scheduled restyles, snapshot lock during bulk runs, the extended catalog of category-organized voices (Fashion, Beauty, Home, Tech, Niche, Seasonal, Events), and basic analytics.
What does Pro add on top of Grow?
Pro ($79/mo) adds custom voices you build yourself with a wizard, version history with restore (per product, per voice), campaign routing (voice swap by traffic source via UTM), and advanced analytics with export.
What happens if I downgrade?
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then. Voices and features above the new tier cap are paused, not deleted; your existing styled product pages keep rendering. Re-upgrading reactivates the paused work.
Do you offer refunds?
No. The Free tier exists so you can verify quality before paying, and downgrades take effect at billing-cycle end so you’re never locked into a tier you don’t want next month.
Is pricing in USD?
Yes. We bill in USD globally.
Reverting and safety
What if I don’t like a draft?
Reject the field. Or accept the title, edit the description, and reject the SEO description — each decision is independent. Nothing publishes until you say so.
How do I undo a published styled description?
Click revert from the product detail page in LingoVae. The styled metafield clears, the theme app extension stops rendering styled content for that product, and your original Shopify product.descriptionHtml — which LingoVae has never touched — renders as before. Atomic and per-product.
What if my subscription lapses?
The theme app extension stops rendering styled content; your original Shopify descriptions render in their place automatically. Customers see no transition. There’s no manual cleanup required.
Does LingoVae touch my original product copy?
No. We write only to metafields under the commstyles namespace. Your original product.descriptionHtml is preserved and never modified.
Data and privacy
What data does LingoVae read from my shop?
The products you select to style (their titles, current descriptions, and product types), your shop name, and your billing tier. We don’t read product data we don’t need to render a draft.
Does LingoVae send my product data to AI providers?
Yes — we send the product context (title, current description, product type) to the AI provider that generates the styled draft. We don’t send customer data, order data, or anything beyond what’s needed to write the description.
Can I export or delete my data?
See data deletion. Uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin is the fastest path; we mark your data for deletion within 48 hours and fully delete within 30 days.
