Plain-English summary
- On this marketing site we set no cookies. Analytics are aggregate-only and cookieless (Cloudflare Web Analytics + Plausible).
- Inside the LingoVae app we set a small number of cookies needed to keep you signed in to your Shopify shop and to remember settings. They're listed below.
- We don't use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or any cross-site tracking.
Cookies on the marketing site (lingovae.com)
None at the time of writing.
Cloudflare's bot mitigation may briefly set transient cookies if it detects unusual traffic, but these are operational and not used for tracking.
Cookies set by the LingoVae app
When you install and use the LingoVae Shopify app, we set:
Strictly necessary
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in to your shop for the current browsing session. Expires when you close the browser.
- CSRF token — protects against cross-site request forgery on sensitive actions like publishing a styled product.
- Shopify embedded-app session — set by Shopify's App Bridge to host the app inside your Shopify admin. Governed by Shopify's own cookie policy.
Preferences
- Last-used voice — remembers which voice you most recently applied so the picker defaults sensibly.
What we don't use
- No advertising cookies.
- No retargeting pixels.
- No cross-site tracking IDs.
- No Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel.
How to control cookies
Your browser lets you block or delete cookies at any time. If you block our session cookie you'll be signed out of the LingoVae app and the app may not function correctly. Blocking the CSRF cookie will prevent sensitive actions from completing.
Changes
We'll update this page when we change which cookies we set. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
